I love teaching at West Michigan Academy! This is my fourth year teaching the fifth and sixth grade, and I'm happy to be working with wonderful teachers like Mrs. Larkin, Mrs. Johnson, and Mrs. Peterson. I have also taught in the Mt. Pleasant area and worked as a paraprofessional with special education at WMAES.
I graduated from Cornerstone University in 2003 with a degree in Elementary Education and Language Arts. I also recently earned a master's degree in education from Cornerstone University. I love learning and hope to take more classes in the future.
Mr. Gordon and I enjoy living in the Grand Rapids area. Mr. Gordon is also busy with learning as he's working on his third (and final!) year of law school at Michigan State University. We both enjoy traveling, reading, and spending time with friends. The other member of our family is Chani, our little Maltese-Bischon, who is a very spoiled puppy!
